My Beloved City

The city of Jember is a small town located at the tip of East Java province, Indonesia. Who have extensive 2948.87 km² with a population of approximately 2,332,000 inhabitants. Jember city headed by a regent named MZA Djalal and was represented by vice-regent named Kusen Andalas.

In the town of Jember, there are well-known universities, namely the State University of Jember (UNEJ) and State Polytechnic of Jember. But besides that, there are many other universities in the town of Jember, namely Muhammadiyah University (UNMUH), State Islamic High School (STAIN), School of Economics (STIE) Mandala, and others.

Jember city famous for its distinctive food, the tape and Suwar-suwir. Both the food is fit to serve as presents for relatives, friends or other relatives. Jember renowned as one of the major tobacco producing areas in Indonesia. Jember tobacco is tobacco that is used as the outer layer / skin cigar. Tobacco Jember is also well known in Bremen, Germany.

In the town of Jember is also famous for its place of tourism, among others:

1. Watu Ulo Beach is located about 25 km from the district Ambulu. Watu Ulo Beach has a stunning panoramic view overlooking the ocean with a row of serpentine rock.

2. Papuma Cape Coast with its charming white sand beach is located not far from Watu Ulo Beach. Papuma Beach is a beach that has a beautiful exotic beaches and charming sea with turquoise beaches.

3. Tourist places of Rembangan located in the region Arjasa, attractive landscapes, bathhouse, hotel and agrotourism in the form of coffee plantations and plantations of Dragon fruit. There also are a dairy farm, where we can see the process of milking cows and we also can buy fresh cow's milk.

4. Tancak Waterfall located in Pasang Mountain district Panti. It also has an exotic beauty, even though the road is impassable hard and very far from the district Panti.
